This was a magnificent rustic dream wedding at Greenbank Mills & Philips Farm in Newark, Delaware which is right outside the city of Wilmington. This location used to function as a 19th century farm, and there was a number of great locations on the property that we were able to take advantage of for amazing photos. It felt like a step-back-in-time even though we were very close to the city of Wilmington. As the photos show below, it was a gorgeous day, not too cold and not too hot, and the pictures tell the whole story. If you’re interested in getting married in Delaware and you’re looking for a quality rustic wedding venue, this location is an amazing choice and can’t recommend it highly enough. Getting the details right!
For this photo I photographed the bride with the mirror and cleared everything off the table, and I love the way this turned out! I used a Westcott 5-in-1 reflector, and I’m a very firm believer in avoiding off camera flash in bride-getting-ready shots unless it’s absolutely necessary.
